One of my favorite inexpensive red wines from Italy is Montepulciano D’Abruzzo which is what I chose and it paired beautifully with the Margherita pizza I had ordered.

What really set the experience at Piccolo Sogno apart was the excellent service. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel like valued guests. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, offering great recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. The pacing of the meal was just right—there was no rush, which allowed us to savor every course and enjoy each other’s company.

The Dessert: A Sweet Ending to a Perfect Night

After indulging in every bite of my pizza, I knew I had to finish the evening with something sweet. I was pretty full so I opted for a scoop of chocolate gelato. It’s a must-try! It was decadently rich and paired perfectly with a shot of espresso. It was the kind of dessert that made me sigh in satisfaction and smile in delight.
