Introducing My New Series
Some people ease into birthdays with a cake, candles, and maybe a toast or two. Me? I’m diving headfirst into a six-week experiment I’m calling “52 by 52.”
The mission: rack up 52 mini victories in 6 weeks — all before I celebrate my 52nd birthday.
Yes, you read that right. Fifty-two wellness wins. Six weeks. One soon-to-be 52-year-old woman on a mission.
What Exactly Is “52 by 52”?
Instead of dragging out a year-long challenge, I wanted something fast, fun, and a little bit daring. Over the next six weeks, I’ll be stacking up 52 small, doable wellness goals — daily actions, mindful rituals, and playful experiments that push me toward feeling healthier, lighter, and more alive by the time the candles are lit.
Think of it as a wellness bootcamp meets bucket list:
One morning I might start with journaling and a glass of water with lemon and apple cider vinegar.
That afternoon? A walk on the beach.
Later in the week? Cooking a new plant-based dish, trying a new stretch routine, or even digital detoxing (wish me luck!).
Individually, they’re tiny. Together, they create big momentum.
Why 52 Mini Victories?
Because small steps add up. I don’t want a massive, impossible-to-keep resolution. I want a stack of little wins that prove to myself: yes, change can happen quickly.
52 is symbolic — my age-to-be.
6 weeks is short enough to keep me motivated but long enough to see real shifts.
And mini victories? They make wellness feel approachable, not overwhelming.
By the end, I want to feel stronger, calmer, more confident — and ready to step into 52 with energy and gratitude.
What Counts as a Victory?
The beauty of “52 by 52” is that it’s flexible. Some victories will be physical, others emotional, spiritual, or even playful. Here’s a sneak peek:
Drinking more water each day (with my new favorite insulated bottle).
Adding more plants to my meals (hello mango salsa and plantain bowls).
Exploring Puerto Rico’s trails and beaches for outdoor fitness.
Setting boundaries with tech for a real mental reset.
Creating small self-care rituals inspired by the Caribbean lifestyle.
Nothing too crazy, nothing unattainable — just tiny actions that make me feel like I’m moving forward every single day.
Why Share This Journey With You?
Because I know I’m not the only one craving a reset button, especially when big birthdays roll around. We all want to feel healthier, lighter, and more aligned — but sometimes the idea of “reinventing yourself” feels overwhelming.
So I’m breaking it down. If you’ve ever thought…
“I don’t have time to overhaul my life.”
“Wellness feels complicated.”
“I just need a few small wins to feel motivated.”
Then this series is for you, too.
How to Follow Along
I’ll be sharing:
Weekly blog posts breaking down my progress (the wins, the flops, and the surprises).
Instagram Reels + TikToks showing behind-the-scenes moments from Puerto Rico — ocean dips, market finds, and wellness rituals.
Amazon must-haves that make each victory more doable (like the yoga mat that’s keeping me sane).
By the end, we’ll have 52 victories together — and I’ll step into 52 not just older, but stronger.
